I really think the emergency update that interrupted the schedualed broadcast on Aug. 2nd was unneccissary. It really could have waited untill evening news. Totally annoying. Twice!! Mistake...

OK first off I love KRON.
I was born and raised in Marin so I remeber when KRON Capt.Skipper,Mayor Art,Belva Davis and Huntly and Brinkley.
It would be nice to have KRON show more locally produced shows.
We have enough local talant to have a live talk show with an audeince.
And I really enjoy the historical programs about San Francisco.The one about San Francisco's role in the movies was great.
Don't get me wrong.Entertainment Tonight is entertaining(sort of)And who can resist the rantings of Dr.Pill?
But I would be more incline to watch more KRON if there was more local stuff.

the bay area's newstation? more like the bay area's best example of the gutter press. your coverage of the jon bene farce was disgusting. you would make old man hearst proud, your "news" coverage is beyond yellow journalism. yeah play it for all those ratings esp since your regular program schedule is nothin but reruns or even worse when you put on stories that are nothing but advertising for the people/product your are featuring. go away far away.

first off, steve raleigh moved back to cincinatti + is working there, from what i heard...it was hard to adapt to, but this kelting guy isn't too bad. and when i heard vicki announce the new schedule that starts next week i was annoyed, to say the least. those shows that are replacing the nine o'clock news look like terrible excuses for soap operas (which are often bad to begin with), and they're constantly plugging them on their regular news program...i mean, come ON! they're replacing knowledge with fantasy fiction? that's some bs right there...it's gonna be hard not having the kron 4 news at nine...wonder what'll happen to gary's segments...? move to six, maybe? i hope i don't have to sucumb to another news station for my nightly news, but at this rate...
